Ways to Reduce Consumption
Please be aware that a drought declaration was issued for Luzerne County by the Department of Environmental Protection. Declarations are issued in response to low stream flows, declining groundwater levels, and below-normal precipitation rates. When in a drought watch, it is recommended that consumers reduce their water use by about 5% through voluntary conservation measures. Remember, small changes can add up to huge results, including a lesser water bill!
